tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66571217876525162582012-01-23T07:20:39.872-08:00EmbraceGracehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07536786969488194276noreply@blogger.comBlogger11100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6657121787652516258.post-80374189081954471232012-01-06T12:03:00.000-08:002012-01-06T12:03:19.620-08:00Ok, so I'm a little surprised to be actually doing this.&nbsp; I have friends who blog (and they're really good at it---shout out to Niqui and Jan!), but I never really imagined that I'd start doing it.&nbsp; I guess it only makes sense that eventually I would get here.&nbsp; I'm always thinking about stuff and I'm always running my mouth, so I guess it only fits that I should blog.&nbsp; When I starting thinking about what to title my blog, the first thing that came to my mind was "Embrace Grace".&nbsp; God's grace is so amazing, I can't even begin to get my head around it..I have to try to get my heart around it.&nbsp; Grace is a revelation of God's amazing love that has to be caught, not taught.&nbsp; So often, with all of our struggles in life, we forget...or at least I forget...that God's grace is sufficient for me.&nbsp; Pastor Barry's (<a href="http://www.livingbyfaith.com/">http://www.livingbyfaith.com/</a>)&nbsp;definition of grace is "God's willingness to use His ability on my behalf all the time".&nbsp; What I'm learning to do (with bumps and scraps along the way), is to lean into God's willingness, and allow His ability to operate in&nbsp;every situation all the time.&nbsp; That's a lot tougher than it sounds.&nbsp; It's very tempting to lean to our own understanding (the opposite of what we learn in Proverbs 3), but it is a conscious moment-by-moment decision to lean into God's willingness.&nbsp; So with that said, here I sit...preparing to share my experiences as I learn to lean into His willingness.&nbsp; If there's anybody out there reading this, it's going to be a fun and interesting ride!&nbsp; <br /><br />Blessings to all as we Embrace Grace!<br /><br />Love,<br />Lori<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6657121787652516258-8037418908195447123?l=embracinghisgrace.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>EmbraceGracehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07536786969488194276noreply@blogger.com1
